1936-D 50C Rhode Island MS67 PCGS Secure. CAC. The Rhode Island Tercentenary half dollar commemorates the 300th anniversary of the founding of Providence. The Denver Mint struck 15,011 coins that were distributed through three-coin sets along with examples of the Philadelphia and Denver issues. This Superb Gem is conditionally scarce and CAC-endorsed. Finer pieces are major rarities. Frosty luster is beautifully preserved and showcases warm golden toning that deepens with a greenish hue around the obverse border.
