    1936-D 50C Texas MS68 PCGS. Light tawny-gold and sky-blue toning endows this lustrous and essentially pristine Superb Gem. The Winged Victory has pleasing sharpness, with only a trace of inexactness on the upper knee and the left (facing) hand. 1936 was the true centennial of Texan independence, although the type was struck each year between 1934 and 1938. Population: 12 in 68, 0 finer (9/07).
