Description
Toned Prooflike Isabella Quarter
1893 25C Isabella Quarter MS64 Prooflike NGC. Proof or Prooflike? The strike is strong enough and the fields are deep enough to warrant consideration as a proof. However, the surfaces are peppered with numerous small abrasions that are consistent with a business strike, not a carefully preserved proof that simply has several contact marks on each side. Deeply toned. From the Eric Kreuter Collection.
