Description
Colorful New Rochelle Half-Dollar
1938 New Rochelle MS 66 NGC. This is a coin for the toning specialist. The surfaces are overlaid with multicolored iridescence including orange, gold, lavender, russet, aquamarine, rose, and magenta. While the colors are actually quite dark, there is never an oppressive feel to the coin because the underlying luster is so bright. Nearly mark-free surfaces and a lovely coin overall with much of that elusive quality, eye appeal.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYDX, PCGS# 9335, GSID# 10332)
