    Counterstamped Pair of Sage's Candy Coin Group Lot. An 1874 Arrows Seated Liberty quarter and an 1874 Arrows Seated half, both counterstamped Sage's Candy Coin on the obverse, Rulau NY-Bf 18 and NY-Bf 19, respectively. The half dollar is counterstamped on the obverse twice with an additional counterstamp on the reverse, the name H.S. Carlton. An interesting two pieces of this popular merchant's counterstamp. The market value is approximately $250-$350.
