Firstbits 1AuEVPgh. Unloaded and unfunded. An extraordinary example of the legendary "Gold Cas" 1000 Bitcoin Casascius coin, struck from one ounce of pure gold and gleaming with exceptional brilliance and pristine, undisturbed eye appeal. Its nearly flawlessly mirroring surfaces and gleaming radiance place this NGC Top Pop piece, currently tied with five others, among the finest known tributes to early physical cryptocurrency history and numismatic opulence at its finest.

The "Gold Cas" was the first gold coin funded with cryptocurrency and the highest denomination coin produced by Caldwell. At the time of introduction they could be purchased directly from him loaded with 1000 BTC for $5,500. It is estimated that just 5-7 coins were made with one private key, and an uncertain number, presumably around twenty, were issued with the 2-factor authentication as seen here.
