Republic Counterstamped Peso ND (1872-1877) XF40 PCGS, KM-R6. Incuse key counterstamp on 1866-Mo Maximilian Peso. A rare host in this series, with just one example placing higher on the PCGS census. Toned in a deep battleship gray that lets up on the highpoints, the host facilitates an attractive visual contrast on the flan. Countermark is slightly uneven but unmistakable.Metal: Silver
