Description
Republic gold 2 Pesos 1916, KM17, Proof 65 PCGS, highly attractive with mirror surfaces and rich old-time patina. Extremely rare in Proof with a mintage of 8. This is the first example we have brought to auction and have noted no other recent sales records. This is the only piece graded by PCGS in Proof and NGC has certified two, one in PF62 and one in PF64.
