Description

Republic "Star" Peso 1916 MS63 PCGS, Philadelphia mint, KM15.2. The first true Cuban silver peso, this striking coin was designed by Charles E. Barber in 1915 to celebrate the newly-independent Cuba. Desirable as both an example of this popular early Cuban crown-sized piece, and for its scarcely-found choice uncirculated state.
