Description
$10 1902 Third Charter, Dated Back, Blue Seal, "P," (Fr-618 S-1440).
Fine, Small Hole Near Portrait
8424 - The Nixon National Bank of Reno, Nevada
Cashier: R. C. Turrittin, President: George S. Nixon
Double Serial Numbers 19422 - V332864, 3 examples are known.
Unquestionably, a rarity with the George S. Nixon signature. Under Nixon’s ownership and presidency, the bank issued red seals and dated back blue seals. We consider any "Nixon" signature note as a special item because of his place in the history of early 20th century Nevada. Very rare.
