Very Rare Boylston (Boston) National Five-Dollar
1875 $5 National Currency, Fr-401, XF. The Boylston National Bank of Boston, Massachusetts, Charter #545. A bold and vivid note with strong signatures and much original body remaining in the paper. The obverse centering is good with the bottom cut barely intruding on the design at the lower left. The reverse is centered a bit low. Just twenty notes are known to collectors from this bank which was liquidated in July of 1923.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2BHK, PCGS# 10401, GSID# 11219)
