When the estate of LeVere Redfield was disposed of, few people knew he had several sheets of Winnemucca $10 notes. These were not the subject of the famous bidding between A-Mark and the Bowers & Ruddy challenge in a Reno court room, but had been previously sold by the estate. This accounts for the relative abundance of these notes, but consider "abundance" as a very loose term, only 26 have been reported in the register of serial numbers.
