The name of this small Eastern Nevada bank clearly shows the influence of mining in Nevada’s economy at the turn of the century. A total of 4,398 $10 notes were issued in the plain back series, two are known to have survived from the $23,500 outstanding at the voluntary liquidation of the bank. This is an exceptional rarity that represents 50 percent of the total notes now known for the bank. Very rare and desirable.
