Description
Massachusetts Rising Sun Notes. All are from the October 18, 1778 series. The first is for two-shillings sixpence, Fine, serial 855, signed G. Partridge with smoothed creases; the second is valued at three-shillings, Fine, serial 6167, signed R. Cranch with smoothed center crease; and the final note is for four-shillings sixpence, Fine, serial 3966, signed by T. Dawes with a smoothed center crease. Ex: 1983 ANA (Kagin's, 8/83), lot 190, flips accompany.
