Description
(3) 1985 $1 Federal Reserve Notes Choice CU, an interesting printed fold and offset trio resulting from the paper being torn and folded during the first printing operation, staying that way through the other processes and with the matching obverse and reverse offsets displayed on the other two notes; 1988 A $1 Federal Reserve Note Choice CU, a note receiving normal first and second printings and then folded, resulting in the right hand overprint missing and unfolding to a dramatic, nearly L-shaped configuration; and a 1979 $1 Federal Reserve Note Gem CU, another curious foldover, folded prior to the overprint which shows prominently on the back and stayed folded for cutting, resulting in the loss of the upper right quadrant.
