Description

Danish Colony. Christian IX gold 10 Daler (50 Francs) 1904 MS63 NGC, Copenhagen mint, KM73, Fr-1, Hede-29. The king of the 20th Century Danish West Indies issues, ultra desirable in any meaningful state of preservation. Examples of the type appear for auction with Heritage nearly once every year, and these occasions are not taken lightly by those collectors looking to acquire such a trophy. The current selection, clocking in at the Choice Mint State threshold, is sufficiently brilliant and semi-Prooflike, mild chatter and light abrasions limiting the grade from further heights. A first-class selection, destined to delight it's next caretaker.
