Denmark: Frederik V gold "Armored Bust" 12 Mark 1758-VH MS63 NGC,...
Description
Frederik V gold "Armored Bust" 12 Mark 1758-VH MS63 NGC, Copenhagen mint, KM585, Fr-262, Hede-23. Peter Nicolai von Haven as mint master. A brief two-year variant in the Frederik V "kurantdukat" series, the King appearing here in armored wear and with helmet. This date is much more commonly found of the more standard, non-armored type; four having been sold at Heritage since the last "Hjelmtype" appeared in 2017. The present Choice specimen is tantalizingly flashy in appearance, bound to attract heavy attention from Danish collectors.Metal: Gold
