Description
Frederik VI Speciedaler 1828 IC//FF, D-73, 28.85g, MS63 NGC. Altona mint. Struck from an obverse die nearing the end of its life. Minor flan stress on the reverse. Totally natural surfaces with full luster and a decent strike considering the fact that the die was on it's last legs. The type often comes well worn with major flan problems. This specimen, although not without problems, is exceptional.From the Grundy Collection.
