Modern Proofs & Patterns Selection, this lot features an assortment of unofficial types struck by a private mint in Spain. 500 Pesos 1976 commemorating the visit of the Spanish royal family (3), Proofs struck in aluminum, bronze and silver, regular thickness, reeded edges, 200 Pesos 1977 honoring Colon (4), all Proofs, aluminum, bronze and silver struck to regular thickness and with reeded edges, and gilt bronze, piefort and plain edge, 100 Pesos 1980 patterns for the Troy Ounce gold issue (4), Proofs struck in aluminum, bronze and silver (2), and 300 Pesos 1983 piefort silver with plain edge, Proof, with busts of Montesinos, Enriquillo and Lemba.
