Republic Peso 1897-A MS63 PCGS, Philadelphia mint (using dies engraved at the Paris mint), KM16. Choice Uncirculated and very rare in this grade. Struck in only .350 silver and kept in circulation until 1937, it is only logical that Mint state survivors from this issue are rarely encountered. The present coin is only the second such specimen we have ever offered.Metal: Silver
