1796 10C VF35 PCGS. JR-1, R.3. An early die state example with the star 1 rim break smaller than normal. This eminently collectible first-year-of-issue dime is a bit rough at the center of the obverse but still attractive, with its bold details and even golden-gray and blue patina.Ex: Heritage (2/2003), lot 6208.(Registry values: P7)
