1798/97 13 Stars Reverse Dime, JR-2, Good 6
1798/97 10C 13 Stars on Reverse Good 6 NGC. JR-2, R.6. Both overdate die marriages of this year share a common obverse, described as Small 8 Over Large 7. The JR-2 is distinguished by the 13 Star Reverse, while the JR-1 is paired with the 16 Star Reverse. This piece shows the heavy wear expected of the grade, but all of the major details are clear, and the coin is well centered and free of major post-strike distractions. Some of the shield stripes and a couple of letters of the motto are still discernible on the reverse.(Registry values: P6)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 4469, GSID# 4015)
