1804 10C 14 Stars Reverse, JR-2, R.5 -- Damage -- PCGS Genuine. VG Details. The 1804 Draped Bust, Heraldic Eagle dime is the rarest date in the Draped Bust series with a mintage of 8,265 coins. Two die marriages share the same obverse die, while the reverse has either a 13 stars or 14 stars. This JR-2 variety has the 14 Stars Reverse and is the rarest of the two varieties. The obverse has toned-over pin scratches, while the reverse also has thin scratches but less in number. Medium gray toning with good hair detail and eagle feather definition.
