1805 10C 4 Berries, JR-2, R.1, AU53 PCGS. Dusky pinkish-gray patina appears on each side of this nicely preserved 1805 4 Berries dime, the more frequently seen of the two varieties for the year. Mint luster remains on each side, highlighting the raised elements. Light high-point circulation wear is as expected, and a few planchet adjustment marks appear at the obverse rim and the lower reverse, through the shield stripes. Post-mint damage is nonetheless minimal, imparting much eye appeal to this popular and in-demand variety. PCGS Population (for the variety): 1 in 53, 12 finer (4/25).
