Description

1805 JR-2 Dime, MS63
Stunning 4 Berries Variety

1805 10C 4 Berries, JR-2, R.1, MS63 PCGS. Autumn-brown and gunmetal-gray toning gradually deepens toward the borders. Central roller marks are light and inconsequential. Outstanding from a technical perspective. The two die marriages for the date attain separate Guide Book listings due to different berry counts, with the 4 Berries JR-2 more available than the 5 Berries JR-1. Based on survivorship, some 1805 JR-2 dimes were likely coined in 1807. Population: 26 in 63 (1 in 63+), 49 finer (11/25).
