Pleasing 1805 4 Berries Dime1805 10C 4 Berries MS64 NGC. JR-2, R.2. Just two die varieties are known, and they are easily distinguished by the berry count on the reverse with either four berries or five berries. Both varieties were coined from a common obverse die. The five berries variety was struck first, followed by this four berries variety with a thin obverse die crack through ERT.
Bright surfaces display light grayish-lavender with sky-blue accents on the obverse, and aqua-blue, lavender, and champagne-gold on the reverse. The design elements are well impressed, and exhibit good definition in Liberty's hair and drapery and the eagle's wing feathers. Most of the obverse dentilation shows.(Registry values: P5) (NGC ID# 236S, PCGS# 4477)
