Later Die State 1807 JR-1 Dime1807 10C JR-1, R.2. Reiver die state d.--Damaged, Whizzed--NCS. AU Details. Bright silver with some peripheral gold toning on the obverse. There was a scratch down Liberty's face, neck and bust which has been removed. All of the surfaces show the pebbly or rough appearance caused by whizzing. Nevertheless, this is a late die state example which is why Jules purchased it, as the clashing is very clear and die swelling has weakened star twelve, caused by clashing with the wing, and the ER of LIBERTY also weak from clashing with the eagle's tail.
