Description
Charming 1807 Dime, JR-1, Choice Extremely Fine
1807 10C XF45 PCGS. JR-1, R-2. The only variety known. This piece exhibits a remarkable amount of luster for the grade, with a pleasing sparkle throughout the fields. A ring of deep charcoal toning encircles the lovely silver-gray centers. Numerous clash marks are apparent on the obverse, most notably between the date and the bust. A faint pinscratch near the final star is the only mentionable handling mark. From The Menlo Park Collection.(Registry values: P5)
