    Description

    Lovely 1807 Dime

1807 MS 63 PCGS. JR-1, R.2. This final year Heraldic Eagle design is occasionally seen in mint state, but most are rather drab examples, very poorly struck on the left side. This brightly lustrous specimen is a welcome exception, being satiny and untoned with particularly sharp details over all but the left stars. The obverse displays numerous wavy clash marks in the field directly in front of Liberty's face; the reverse has some light adjustment marks on the lower left. Totally original in every respect, and highly desirable as such. Population: 30 in 63, 12 higher (7/95). (NGC ID# 236T, PCGS# 4480)

    Weight: 2.70 grams

    Metal: 89.24% Silver, 10.76% Copper
