1795 Draped Bust Dollar, Very Fine Details
Centered Bust, B-15, BB-52
1795 $1 Draped Bust, Centered--Improperly Cleaned--NGC. Very
Fine Details. B-15, BB-52, R.2. Two varieties are known for the
1795 Draped Bust dollar, the first year for the design. The present
coin is a representative of the less available BB-52 variety,
characterized by the well centered bust on the obverse. The deep
gray and lilac surfaces are lightly abraded for an early dollar,
and much original detail remains on the devices.(Registry values: N1793)
