1795 Draped Bust Dollar, XF40
Off-Center Bust, B-14, BB-51
1795 $1 Draped Bust, Off-Center, B-14, BB-51, R.2, XF40
PCGS. Bowers Die State I. Consistent dove-gray toning
encompasses this minimally abraded and moderately circulated
representative. The bust punch was entered too far west, which give
the right obverse field a much more open appearance than the
left-side field. The placement error does not occur on B-15, the
other 1795 Draped Bust variety.From The Siegel Collection.
