    Description

Borderline Unc. 1795 Draped Bust Dollar

1795 $1 Draped Bust, Off Center AU58 NGC. B-14, BB-51. The obverse is untoned through the centers and particularly well struck on the countless hair curls of Liberty's portrait, being delicately framed in violet toning. More obvious signs of contact are primarily found in the rather exposed area of the right obverse field. On the reverse, nearly complete luster is visible beneath a thin layer of silver-gray patina that is interspersed with delicate golden and lilac shades.
