The 9x7 Stars obverse paired with a Small Letters reverse, the sole
die pair of its kind for the date and most elusive of the three
varieties for the year. While light wear is present across the high
design elements of this example, it remains strongly lustrous
through a mix of gold and gray hues, with medium-gray more
prominent on the obverse and areas of deeper charcoal capturing
attention on the reverse. Minor central striking softness is
typical. Lightly abraded overall with a hidden vertical pinscratch
