Description

    1798 Large Eagle, 10 Arrows Dollar, VF30
    Midgrade B-13, BB-108 Variety

1798 $1 Large Eagle, 10 Arrows VF30 PCGS. B-13, BB-108, R.2. Bowers Die State II. The 1798 Large Eagle B-13, BB-108 is an interesting variety that is frequently chosen for type purposes, and this VF30 example would make a great acquisition to that end. This piece is medium-gray overall with pinkish accents scattered over both sides. The only mentionable distractions are some localized planchet roughness on the obverse, above and left of the date, and a long pinscratch running diagonally through the shield on the reverse. A great-looking midgrade example of the type.(Registry values: P1) (NGC ID# 24X6, PCGS# 6876)

    Weight: 26.96 grams

    Metal: 89.24% Silver, 10.76% Copper
