1798 Draped Bust Dollar, VF25
Large Eagle, B-21, BB-107
Scarce 10 Arrows Variety, CAC Endorsed

1798 $1 Large Eagle, Pointed 9, 10 Arrows, 4 Lines, B-21, BB-107, R.5, VF25 PCGS. CAC. Bowers Die State II, with the "Tadpole" internal die crack above the date. The vertical shield stripes have four lines each and the 10 Arrows all have their points except for a faint headless stick. This is a scarce Draped Bust variety, with the base of T in LIBERTY repunched. Silver-gray toning deepens to gunmetal-gray around the well-struck raised devices. Five tiny berries decorate the branch. CAC endorsement confirms the high-end surface quality of this VF25 coin that displays old-silver charm and no distractions for the assigned grade.
