1798 $1 Large Eagle, Pointed 9, Four Berries, B-8, BB-125, R.2 -- Improperly Cleaned -- NGC Details. XF. Bowers Die State II. Glimmers of luster emerge from the curls and plumage of this pearl-gray early dollar. The fields are delicately hairlined, but the coin will please most collectors. The reverse die is misaligned a few degrees toward 7:30, with weakness on UNITED due to the absence of a protective rim.From The Hamilton Collection, Part III.
