AU Sharpness 1798 Pointed 9 Dollar
Heraldic Reverse, B-14, BB-122
1798 $1 Large Eagle, Pointed 9--Improperly Cleaned--NGC Details.
AU. B-14, BB-122, R.3. Remarkably well-defined for an American
18th century issue with only minor rub on well-defined devices. A
handful of scattered nicks and abrasions are visible in the
centers, and the silver-gray surfaces show disturbed luster from
cleaning. Occasional glimpses of gold retoning are visible in the
fields.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24X6, PCGS# 6873, GSID# 7158)
