Plethora of Obverse Die Cracks
1799 $1 7x6 Stars, B-19, BB-155, R.5 -- Cleaned -- PCGS Genuine.
AU Details. Ex: The Peh Family Collection. Bowers-Borckardt Die
State IV. Light-silver surfaces are ringed with antique champagne
around the peripheral design elements. Light hairlines are present
on the obverse, but none even approach the territory of notable
abrasions. The BB-155 is one of three R.5 die marriages of the 7x6
Stars type, and is known with a plethora of obverse die cracks. The
present example displays all three: the crack from stars 1 through
3, the crack through the date, and the crack through star 3 into
