1799 $1 Fine 12 PCGS. B-8, BB-165, R.2. Die State III. An attractively detailed example of this popular date. The surfaces are medium to dark gray with lighter silver accents on the devices. Many of the stars above the eagle are faint, partly due to an indifferent strike on that region.
