Description
Noble VF30 1800 Dollar, B-17, BB-196
1800 $1 12 Arrows VF30 NGC. B-17, BB-196, R.1. Cream-gray devices accompany orange and lilac tinged fields. Sea-green toning adorns the borders. This nicely defined example shows moderate wear on the cheek and bust truncation. A faint pinscratch on the cheek is only apparent beneath a glass. Die State IV, which Bowers considered scarce. The clash marks near OF and above the bust have been removed through die polishing, and a crack from the ribbon toward star 6 is present.Ex: Long Beach Family Collection (Heritage, 8/2006), lot 3694.(Registry values: P1)
