Remarkable 1800 Dollar, B-12, BB-184, About Uncirculated
1800 $1 AU50 PCGS. B-12, BB-184, R.3. A double-punched R in LIBERTY identifies the obverse, while a small die flaw to the left of the U in UNITED distinguishes the reverse (there are several other diagnostic die flaws on the reverse). A Die State I example, with no die cracks. Medium gray patina graces the surfaces of this charming specimen. Bright and enchanting luster shines from the fields, and makes the obverse especially attractive. A couple of shallow marks and a trace of rub in the fields define the grade.
