Description

1800 B-12, BB-184 Bust Dollar, XF45
OGH Holder, Choice Surfaces

1800 $1 B-12, BB-184, R.3, XF45 PCGS. Bowers Die State I. Silver luster glimmers around the raised devices on this Choice XF B-12, BB-184 silver dollar. Golden highlights warm the attractive, silver-gray surfaces of this well-centered and beautifully preserved example. BB-184 is a relatively scarce 1800 variety that is identified by a die dot located at the lower left corner of E in UNITED and a more dramatic die flaw at the outside left upright of E in AMERICA. Yet another stubby die anomaly points from the dentils to the left of U in UNITED. Smooth surfaces host well-defined motifs with only scattered, tiny marks. This coin is holdered in a Generation 3.1 green label holder.
