Description

1800 Draped Bust Dollar, XF40
Well Struck B-13, BB-193

1800 $1 B-13, BB-193, R.3, XF40 PCGS. CAC. Bowers Die State III. Interesting heavy clashmarks from the obverse drapery lines are transferred to reverse clouds and into OF. Despite the strong second die clash, the strike is solid with good definition of the portrait, eagle, and shield. Only light wear on design high points and minimal circulation marks for the grade. Natural dove gray toning is quite attractive on this Draped Bust, Heraldic Eagle dollar. Housed in a Generation 3.1 green label PCGS holder.
