    1800 $1 Wide Date, Low 8 AU53 PCGS. B-10, BB-190, R.3. Bowers Die State IV. Deep gunmetal-gray and plum-mauve grace most of this Bust dollar. However, bright luster emerges through the toning near the letters, stars, hair, and plumage. Marks are essentially absent except for an obverse tick at 6 o'clock and an inconspicuous abrasion within the A in STATES. Encapsulated in an early generation holder.
