1802/1 $1 Narrow Date XF45 PCGS. CAC. B-4, BB-232, R.3.
Bowers-Borckardt Die State II. The 1 in the date touches the curl
and the point of the leftmost arrowhead is under the left edge of
the serif of N in UNITED, identifying the BB-232 variety.
Attractive pinkish-gray patina blankets the surfaces of this
lightly worn example. The surfaces show only minor abrasions and
most design detail remains intact. The BB-232 is rare in high
grade. Population: 1 in 45, 3 finer (10/12).
