    Description

    Bright, Lustrous B-6 1802 Dollar

1802 $1 Wide Date AU53 PCGS. B-6, BB-241, R.1. This variety can be easily attributed as it is missing the right foot of the T in LIBERTY. On the reverse, there is a spur on the top of cloud 3, and the diagnostic die flaws below E and around D in UNITED. This is a variety that comes in all grades up to and including MS65. Very sharply struck throughout with bright surfaces that are covered with lovely golden and deep gray toning. Lightly abraded on each side. An exceptionally attractive example of this popular issue.
    From the Albany Collection. (NGC ID# 24XB, Variety PCGS# 6896, Base PCGS# 40087)

    Weight: 26.96 grams

    Metal: 89.24% Silver, 10.76% Copper
