1799 $10 Large Obverse Stars, BD-10, R.3 -- Removed From Jewelry -- NCS. XF Details. Star 9 nearly touches the Y, the second 9 is away from the bust, and the leaf tip touches the I in AMERICA on this collectible Large Obverse Stars variety, the most often seen die marriage for the year with 300 to 400 pieces extant. This Draped Bust eagle has XF sharpness, but its surfaces are bright and abraded. A small area of tooling appears in the lower field behind Liberty's curls. A perfect type coin for the collector on a budget.
