1799 $10 Small Obverse Stars, BD-8, R.5, Fine 15 PCGS. Bass-Dannreuther Die State c/b, terminal state. This eagle has circulation marks consistent with the even wear. PCGS has graded only three 1799 Eagles in Fine 15, making this a rare opportunity to acquire this great early gold type with a problem free, well circulated example. John Dannreuther estimates just 45-55 examples of the BD-8 variety are known.
