1800 BD-1 Eagle, XF Details
1800 $10 BD-1, High R.3 -- Bent -- NGC Details. XF. Bass-Dannreuther Die State b/c, cracked through the tops of LIBERTY. The coin is well-struck with light, even wear. Faint remnants of adjustment marks can be seen on the clouds above the eagle's head. This piece displays uniform orange-gold patina and relatively smooth surfaces. A faint bend in the planchet, horizontally across the coin, is discernible from certain angles.From The Twelve Oaks Collection. (NGC ID# BFYT, Variety PCGS# 45732, Base PCGS# 8563)
