Imposing Choice AU 1801 Ten Dollar
1801 $10 AU55 PCGS. Breen-6843, Taraszka-25, BD-2, R.2. Luster shimmers across the devices and legends of this lemon-tinged representative. Portions of the reverse border offer cherry-wine toning. The strike is exacting, and the eagle's breast feathers have full definition. Given its soft alloy and large size, marks are minor given its brief stint in commerce. A thin vertical mark hidden within the hair and nearly imperceptible marks near the 0 in the date barely merit mention. Certainly, this is a handsome Heraldic Eagle ten that will provide the cornerstone for a gold type collection.(Registry values: P1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2627, PCGS# 8564, GSID# 9348)
